Children, Don’t Take the Bait!
A 7-year-old boy named Benjamin starred in the new video series that Florida Faith Alliance / Visionary School of Arts is collaborating on called Don’t Take the Bait! for students. Benjamin was in his elementary school this week, and the class went to the IT room. Somehow, two of the boys in the class got around the firewall and navigated to the internet on one of the computers, only to pull up pornography! They started laughing and called Benjamin over, saying, “Come and see what we have!” He started walking over, and he said, “What is it?” they said, “Naked ladies!” Benjamin stopped in his tracks, spun around, and walked away! At that moment, the teacher saw that something was happening, caught the two boys, and took all the appropriate steps to call the IT department and the principal. The school handled it well. The boys were disciplined.
Benjamin’s grandmother called to tell me about what had happened, and when I spoke to him I told him how proud we were of him. I asked him how he knew to walk away, and he said, “I know not to look, DON’T TAKE THE BAIT!”
Praise God that Martin County Schools opened the doors to Don’t Take the Bait to premiere in the fall of 2024! We pray that this message reaches all children in Florida and the USA! The state-of-the-art videos use powerful graphics and technology to capture the attention of children in elementary school, middle/high school, and teachers. Pray over the videos and pray that children everywhere are educated, impacted, and kept safe. Let’s believe God for this video curriculum to get into every school and save lives and save eyes… like it saved Benjamin’s eyes! (Contact FFA for school video sponsorship info)
