Father, we repent for closing our eyes and turning away from standing up and speaking out for the helpless, vulnerable, imprisoned, and oppressed. Forgive us Lord, for falling asleep rather than protecting your precious children from evil- Human Trafficking.
We decree that the church will arise and be the voice for the voiceless. “Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.” Matthew 16:18
We declare that the church will be willing and prepared to engage in healthy and helpful conversations about sexual exploitation, pornography, and abuse. “Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior], For those who are living according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are living according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit [His will and purpose].(Romans 8:1, 5)
We declare the church will remember the gift of grace and offer prayer support and biblical truth. (Eph 2: 1-9)
We declare the church will be unified and viewed as a spiritual weapon in this battle. “I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know [without any doubt] that You sent Me, and [that You] have loved them, just as You have loved Me.” (John 17:23)
We all pray in agreement.
