Father God, today we come to you on behalf of the human trafficking crime that is running rampant in the world today! People are being held spiritually and physically in bondage, and we are standing in agreement to see a STOP to this horrendous act against all of humanity!
Your Word says in Proverbs 31:8 “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed” This is exactly what you are calling us to do, stand in the gap and pray for survivors who need to be freed.
Lord, a single butterfly, in order to escape her cocoon, must struggle to free her body with its brand new wings. The struggle is at times so intense that the butterfly may seem near death, but it’s her choice to endure the struggle and persevere through the challenge that allows her to leave her confinement and experience the breathtaking opportunities her new wings of freedom will bring.
Your Word also says in Psalms 12:5 “But the Lord says, “Now I will arise! I will defend the poor, those who were plundered, the oppressed, and the needy who groan for help. I will spring into action to rescue and protect them!” I Lord, commit to stand in agreement with these words to defend, help, spring into action, rescue and protect. Please, give me wisdom and the tools needed to work to fight on behalf of the vulnerable who would be easily coerced.
Help me to bring awareness, and assist survivors, from struggle to arising! I desire to work to inform and to actively engage my community, for us to work together to eradicate human trafficking. Help all of us to educate the community and empower survivors.
