Father, we come to you asking for divine protection over our children as they transition to summer vacation. Our children carry great responsibility at home and for many, summer is not a time to rest or relax. Let the minds and actions of our children not become vulnerable to predators online or in neighborhoods. Let them feel your great love for them as these children are home. Your word says in Isaiah 66:13: “As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you.” God, you created the family, and your children are a gift. Give these children peace and comfort as they prepare for summer break.
Holy Father, we declare that our children and youth live in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. As a result, no harm will come near them during the summer. In accordance with their obedience, we declare that they are blessed in the city and in the country.
